Resource showing how the Primary National Curriculum (2014) programme of study statements can be broken down in relation to the typical stages of language development.

The Communication Trust's "Communicating the Curriculum" supports primary schools to understand where language development relates to the Primary National Curriculum (2014), and also how they can use this to identify a pupil's progression with their spoken language skills. Download from the Communication Trust's website.

Once you have registered for the resource on the Communication Trust's website, you will be given a link to download it. To easily find that link again, you can create your own private "My Notes" page on Commtap and paste the link there - you will easily be able to find that page again on Commtap by going to "My resources".

If you find the Commtap site useful, please fill out a review of it on EdTech impact. This really helps us to get funding to continue running the site. Thank you!
