Alien lotto strips

You can use this as a description game. Make two copies of this: cut one into strips (with three pairs of two aliens on each), cut all the pairs out of the second copy to make a stack of cards. Give each child a strip (or two strips for a longer game!), take a card off the top of the pile and describe it, the child who has the matching pair should indicate this and take the card putting it on their board. The children could also have a go at being the caller.

There are similarities between the aliens - which requires for more accurate descriptions. You can make the game harder by finding more similar pictures of aliens, or easier by finding ones which are more different from each other.
