Rope for line

Pictures with /k/ and /s/ at the beginning and end of the words

Bag (to put pictures in)

Blutac or pegs (for putting pictures on line.

Put the pictures in the bag. Have the child pull out several pictures, and fix them onto the line.

Give them some time to think of a story which mentions all the words they have on the line.

Have them tell the story, with a reminder to remember their /k/ and /s/ sounds.

You could use a doll or puppet to tell the story.

This works well with several children, or a mix of children and adults

2 copies of pictures of objects and furniture starting or ending in /s/ or /k/

Something to use as a barrier

Both players need to put the things in the house. The person giving the instructions puts them on their copy of the house so that they can check if the other person got it right.
