Copyright on Qualifications and Curriculum Development Agency (QCDA) Materials

The descriptions for the P-Scales were created by the Qualifications and Curriculum Development Agency (formerly the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority). The QCDA closed on 31 March 2012. Up-to-date information on the P-Scales can be found via the Department for Education website.

P-Scale descriptions are used on the Commtap site for a non-commercial purpose - within the terms of the copyright on QCDA material as follows:

"The QCDA copyright-protected material may be reproduced free of charge in any format or media for non-commercial or training purposes only, without requiring specific permission, provided it is reproduced accurately and not used in a derogatory manner or in a misleading context. Where any material on this site is being republished or copied to others, the source of the material must be identified and the copyright status acknowledged."
