- 2 different soft toys

- 2 plates

- 2 boxes or baskets

2. Put the 2 soft toys in front of your child, and put a plate and box/basket in front of each one.

2. Select four or five pairs of pictures (i.e., big and small apple, big and small burger etc.) and spread them out - putting the big and small pictures next to each other. Say the name of each picture as you put them out.

3. Ask your child to put an item of food on the doll's or teddy's plate or basket (e.g. "put the big banana on teddy's plate").

Place the items (noun + size + noun + noun)

1. Print and cut out the figures and everyday item cards. 

2. Explain to your child that you are going to tell them to put the items on different body parts.

3. Spread the item cards out in front of your child - make sure you have a big/little version of each item.

3. Give instructions to your child, e.g. put the little key on the girl's head, put the big plate on the boys foot.

4. After a few turns swap roles and see if your child can give you instructions.
